I’ll be writing a random collection of posts sharing experiences and lessons learned on business.
First up is a short topic on the harsh realities of ”The Wilderness”, as someone once so aptly put it.
On your journey to becoming successful in business you will come across many obstacles and setbacks. Quite a number of them will make you feel unjustly treated.
For most of last year that’s pretty much how I felt about a lot of challenges I came accross. I used to feel angry and vengeful about some of them.
Fact is there are people who do not want you to succeed and will do their utmost to jam a spoke into your wheels. That includes – yes, you guessed it – using unfair tactics against you to that end.
The hurt, anger and bitterness only made everything I touched turn sour and less-than stellar; and for those that I got my own back against, the victory didn’t taste sweet at all – it was simply hollow.
Take it from me, it’s not worth it.
Nature has -strangely enough – a way of settling the score without needing your involvement. Keep on minding your own business and doing your best and remember these words:
When going through hell, just keep on walking
