- I'm a Designer (for lack of a more accurate description) Based in South Africa. I do interaction design e.g. user interfaces (web, mobile, desktop) and I develop applications on PHP, MySQL, Python, Adobe Flash, Adobe Flex, Adobe AIR.
I am passionate about business and finance, and of course computer code and user experience design. In corporate/academic speak you can narrow that down to "Finance and Information Technology" for the sake of keeping the peace.
I spend my days working on projects at Tandolin, where I'm a co-founder. The site is sorely in need of a facelift, but I haven't gotten around to launching the new look, which is at an advanced development stage. One of these days youl' get to see it. Promise.
In case you were wondering what "Figo Mago" stands for, it's a nickname that was spontaneously invented for me by a neighbour when I was a teenager growing up in Pimville, Soweto (unfortunately that means I must be getting old and wrinkly. Darn! Now why did I just give that away?!).
I liked the Figo Mago nickname so much I chose it as my web alter-ego. My secret's out.
I'm no italian stud. Sorry...
